Aswan is Egypt's most southern city and was an important resource to the Ancient Egyptians. With the blue waters of the Nile, richly shaded islands and golden sand dunes, Aswan truly is a beautiful and picturesque city. It is also the gateway to Abu Simbel and the temples of Ramesses II and Queen Nefertari.
