Day 1

Day 1: Embarkation / Aswan sightseeing tour

Enjoy your first day on a 4-day Nile River Cruise departing from Aswan to Luxor. Our Cairo Top Tours English-speaking tour guide will collect you from any address or hotel in Aswan and transfer you to board your 5-star Egypt Nile Cruise ship before lunch.

Once you have checked in, you will be served a delicious open buffet lunch on the cruise boat, while enjoying the scenic views of the Nile.

Following lunch, you will visit the High Dam, built during the time of former President Nasser, and the Unfinished Obelisk, which was intended to honor the sun god Amun Ra and was created during the reign of Queen Hatshepsut. Although it was never completed or used, it remains the largest obelisk in the world. You will also visit the Philae Temple, which was repurposed as a Coptic Church during the Roman era in Egypt.

After your sightseeing, your guide will return you to the cruise ship, and the journey will begin towards Kom Ombo.

During the sailing, you will enjoy another open buffet lunch.

In the evening, you will be served an open buffet dinner aboard the cruise ship, followed by a performance of traditional Nubian music and dance.

The cruise will stay overnight in Aswan.

Day 2

Day 2: Kom-Ombo and Overnight at Edfu

Enjoy your delicious breakfast on the cruise ship as it continues to sail north towards Kom Ombo. Upon arrival, you will be joined by your English-speaking tour guide to begin your sightseeing tour. During this visit, you will learn interesting facts about the Kom Ombo temple, which is dedicated to the crocodile-shaped god of the region and the deity Sobek. After spending enough time exploring, you will return to the cruise ship, which will then continue its journey northward. The cruise will make another stop at a city called Edfu.

A pleasant lunch will be served on board, followed by a tea time at sunset as you travel towards Luxor after completing the tour of Kom Ombo.

You will enjoy a dinner meal on the cruise boat, followed by an evening performance show, which is one of the many entertainment options available during the 4-day Nile River Cruise from Aswan to Luxor.

You will spend the night in Edfu.

Day 3

Day 3: Visit to Edfu Temple

In the early morning, breakfast will be served on board the Nile cruise as you travel from Aswan to Luxor. On the third day of your Egypt Classic Tours, you will temporarily leave the boat to visit the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the god Horus. You will arrive at the temple by a charming ride in horse-drawn carriages, and the same vehicles will bring you back to the ship. After completing the tour, the cruise will depart Edfu and sail towards Luxor. A delicious lunch will be served on the boat, and you will have afternoon tea while traveling to Luxor.

Dinner will be served in the evening, accompanied by organized entertainment.

You may also choose to enjoy an optional tour of the sound and light show at the Karnak Temple, with pricing details available upon request.

You will spend the night in Luxor.

Day 4

Day 4: Disembarkation and Luxor sightseeing tours

Disembarking will occur right after breakfast, and you will be accompanied by your English-speaking tour guide to begin the West Bank tour in Luxor. This tour includes visiting historical sites such as the Valley of the Kings, where you can choose to explore three tombs from the inside, and the rock-carved temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was designed by her architect Senmot. You will also have the opportunity to take photographs of the famous Colossi of Memnon. Afterward, you will proceed to the East Bank of Luxor to complete your sightseeing tour. This includes visiting the grand temples of Karnak, dedicated to the Sun God Amun-Ra and his associated gods Mut and Khonsu, as well as the Luxor Temple, which was constructed by King Amenhotep III and completed by King Ramses II to honor the Sun God.

As per your request, you will be transferred to Luxor airport, railway station, or any hotel situated in Luxor.
