Cairo Full-Day from Aswan

We drive you to the airport for the quick trip to Cairo after picking you up from your Aswan accommodation very early in the morning. Your guide is waiting for you as you land, and we immediately go to the Giza Plateau. Your guide explains how the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure, and the Great Sphinx were constructed and why visitors from all over the world continue to visit them. Before the heat gets too intense, you have time to explore and snap as many pictures as you wish.
After Giza we drive into the city to the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir, the old pink building that has held ancient Egyptian treasures for more than a century. It’s crowded and atmospheric, and your guide helps you pick out the pieces worth stopping for, so you don’t get lost among the thousands of objects. Then we walk into the old streets of Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s famous bazaar, where you can browse the lanterns, spices and souvenirs and soak up the busy atmosphere.

In the late afternoon we take you back to the airport for your flight to Aswan. When you land, we drop you at your hotel, after a long day that took you from the Nile in the south to the heart of Cairo.
