On the first day of your trip, you will be picked up from your hotel in Cairo and then travel by air-conditioned car all the way to the Bahariya oasis, where your visits to the white desert will begin, starting with:
The white desert:
The reserve features some desert trees and a group of rare and endangered wild animals, such as the white deer and the Moorish ram.
It also contains many fossils that date back millions of years.
Valley of El Haiz:
This site was discovered on the ruins of a Roman fortress and is considered one of the most northern garrisons in the Western Desert.
Crystal Mountain:
This area is located within the White Desert, 120 kilometers from the Farfra Oasis and 160 kilometers from the Bahariya Oasis.
It is regarded as one of the rarest mountains in the world, as it is a whole mountain made up of various crystal ores, with more than 12 types of crystals gathered together in a large mountain mass.
Valley of Agabat:
Agabat, also known as “The Beautiful Valley,” is located in Egypt’s Western Desert region.
It is generally a stop for tourists traveling between Bahariya and the White and Black Deserts.
At the end of the day, you will be taken all the way back to the Sandrose hotel to spend the night.
Day meals: Lunch, Dinner.

Bahariya Oasis Attractions and Cultural Discoveries

On the second day of your tour, you will be taken from the hotel to begin the day’s visits after you have had your breakfast.
The Golden Mummies Hall:
The discovery of this archaeological site was made by accident by Sheikh Abdel Mawgod, the guard of the Temple of Alexander the Great.
His donkey fell into a hole near the temple, leading to the discovery of the first tomb in this large cemetery. This tomb contained the mummies of men, women, and children, all adorned with gold.
Tombs of the Nobles:
These tombs hold many secrets from the ancient rulers of the oasis.
Among them are the Tomb of Zed-Amun-Ef-Ankh and the Tomb of Bannentiu, which were later used for group burials.
Temple of Ain El-Meffetla:
Located to the northwest of Bawiti, the temple includes four chapels from the 26th dynasty of ancient Egypt.
These chapels were discovered in 1939 by Egyptian scientists.
Salt Lake:
The vast Salt Lake is salty because it has no outlet.
Rivers that flow into it bring in small amounts of salt dissolved in their freshwater. Once the water evaporates, the salt remains behind.
Palm and Fruits Gardens: This will be the last one for today.
Afterward, you will be taken back to Cairo to your drop-off location, which marks the end of our services.
Day meals: Breakfast, lunch.
