A professional tour guide from Cairo will meet you at the hotel lobby in Dahab to accompany you to Sharm El Sheikh airport for your flight to Cairo.During this journey, you will experience a tour from Dahab to Cairo.Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, our representative will greet you with a signboard displaying your name and will introduce you to your tour guide who will lead you through a tour of the Giza Pyramids.

You will visit the Great Pyramid of King Khufu, also known as Cheops, which is the most famous pyramid in Egypt.

You will also see the second pyramid, built by King Khafra, or Chephren, who was the fourth pharaoh of the fourth dynasty.The last pyramid in the Giza Necropolis was built for King Menkaure, also known as Mycerinus.You will gain entrance to the King Chephren Pyramid, which is the second-largest pyramid in Giza and is believed to have served as a tomb for the Pharaoh Khafre, who ruled during the 4th Dynasty.

Next, you will visit the Great Sphinx, and then the Valley Temple, which was built by King Chephren for the mummification of his Akhet or his body.

You will be transferred to the Giza Scenic Plateau where you can take photographs and, if you wish, enjoy a 30-minute camel riding tour (upon request).

After lunch, you will be taken to see the Step Pyramid of King Zoser, one of the most exceptional buildings in the world, located at Saqqara, which is the largest archaeological site in Egypt.

You will learn about the ancient construction of pyramids.

Saqqara features the step pyramid, the tomb of Unas, the tomb of Idut, and many other historical sites.

The Djoser Pyramid, located in Saqqara, is considered the oldest man-made monument in the world and was built entirely of stone during the third dynasty.It was constructed for Pharaoh Djoser by his chief architect, Imhotep, and consists of six mastabas.You will also visit the tombs of the nobles in Saqqara.

Continuing your tour in Saqqara, you will explore the Serpeum, a complex of underground tunnels and chambers.

You will be provided with entrance tickets to this site.Inside the Serapeum, you will find long tunnels leading to large chambers containing sarcophagi made of granite or basalt.These sarcophagi were used to hold the mummified remains of the Apis bulls, which were highly revered in ancient Egyptian religion.The tunnels were also decorated with paintings and inscriptions that portray the rituals and ceremonies associated with the Apis bulls.

Once your day tour is complete, you will be returned to your hotel in Dahab.
