You will be picked up early in the morning from your hotel in Luxor by a representative from Cairo Top Tours. You will then be driven to Luxor International Airport to board your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, our representative will greet you and introduce you to your tour guide. You will then travel to see the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. The tour also includes a visit to the Great Sphinx, a mythical creature from the time of Chephren, which has the head of a human and the body of a lion. There will be a stop at the Valley Temple, which is part of the Chephren Pyramids complex. You will then have lunch at a local restaurant in Cairo.

Your first stop will be Pompey's Pillar, which was built in the late fourth century in honor of Emperor Diocletian. It was once a magnificent structure that competed in grandeur with the temples of Soma, Caesarea, and Serapis. Next, you will visit the Catacombs, the largest Roman cemetery, consisting of three levels carved into the rock. Following that, you will see the Qaitbay Citadel, built on the site of the ancient Pharos lighthouse of Alexandria. You will then head to the magnificent Bibliotheca Alexandrina. A delicious and appetizing lunch will be served at one of Alexandria’s local restaurants.
At the end of your day tour in Egypt, you will be taken to Cairo Airport to catch your flight to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you will be returned to your hotel in Luxor.
