Your private guide meets you at your hotel in the morning, and it's just you and your group in the car, so there's no waiting around for other people. Most of the time we aim to reach the plateau early, before the tour buses arrive and the heat builds up. It makes a real difference.
We start at the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the biggest of the three and the one that has been drawing people here for thousands of years. Your guide will tell you how it was built and what we still don't know about it, and you can stop as long as you like for photos. Then we move on to the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure and to the panoramic viewpoint, where all three line up against the desert. If you'd like to go inside one of the pyramids, just say so and we'll fit it in.
Next is the Sphinx. You can walk right up to it and see the Valley Temple next to it, and this is where most people finally understand how big the whole site is. There's no fixed schedule, so if something catches your interest, we stay. If you're tired, we move on.
When you've had enough of the desert, we drive you back to your hotel, or drop you wherever you'd like to go next in Cairo.
