Next, we will transfer to Luxor Temple, which is considered one of the finest examples of Egyptian architecture and one of the most significant archaeological sites in Egypt.

After you finish your East Bank sights, head back to your hotel in Luxor and try to slow down a bit for the evening. Take a quiet break and get some rest, because you will need to be ready for the early morning Luxor hot air balloon tour the very next day.

Wake up early for the highlight of your Luxor hot air balloon tour. After a short transfer to the take-off area enjoy a breathtaking hot air balloon ride over Luxor West Bank at sunrise. The place is known for its distinctive terraces, its long columns, and those beautifully preserved relief scenes that just sort of feel quietly alive.

Next, wander through Medinet Habu, which is the magnificent mortuary temple of King Ramses III. This site stands out with massive pylons, wide courtyards, more columns than you expect, and extremely detailed reliefs. They show religious rites and also military victories, kind of like a story carved in stone, without too much explanation.

Then move on to the Ramesseum, the great mortuary temple of Ramses II. Take a moment to appreciate the monumental remains and you can learn about the achievements of one of ancient Egypt’s most powerful pharaohs,even if the structure is not fully intact now.
