First stop is Karnak Temple, considered one of the finest examples of ancient worship, and you'll spend around three hours taking it all in. From there, you'll head to Luxor Temple, started by Amenhotep III and finished by Ramses II. Lunch happens on an island, with a boat ride built into the experience. Afterward, you'll check into your 5-star hotel and get some time to rest. Later that evening, you'll catch the light and sound show at Karnak, well worth it if you're into history. You'll spend the night at the hotel.
