Cairo to Luxor overnight tour by train

On this Luxor day tour, you will be transported by our team from your hotel in Cairo to the train station to board your train journey to Luxor. The trip from Cairo to Luxor will take approximately 10 hours. Once you arrive at Luxor station, you will have the opportunity to enjoy panoramic views of Cairo from the window of your cabin.

Your tour will then begin with the first site: The Temple of Karnak, which was believed to be the place where creation began.

It was also considered a site where the god Amun-Ra interacted with the people of Egypt.

Next, you will visit the second site, the Temple of Luxor.

This temple features a large peristyle court and a series of halls and chambers beyond.

After that, you will be transferred to the Valley of the Kings, a location where kings were buried to protect their bodies from thieves.

You will then witness the grandeur of the Hatshepsut Temple, which is regarded as one of the largest and most beautiful temples.

It was built by the orders of Queen Hatshepsut.

Your tour will conclude with a visit to the two colossal statues of the Memnon, known as the Colossi of Memnon, which are considered an open-air museum.

Once your tour is complete, you will be taken back to the train station to return to Cairo, where you will spend the night in the station.

On the second day, when you wake up on the train, you will be in Cairo or shortly arriving there. Once you get off the train, your private tour leader will take you to the hotel, which will also be your drop-off point and the end of our service.
