From the airport, you will be taken to your hotel near the Pyramids in an air-conditioned private vehicle. You will receive all the information related to your sightseeing itinerary as part of your 4 days Egypt Christmas tour package.

Overnight: Cairo

Have your breakfast at the hotel and then meet your private guide, who will take you to the highlights of Ancient Egypt as part of your Cairo Christmas vacation package.

First of all, you are going to visit the Giza Pyramids, home to the outstanding Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. Your guide will share information about the history of these amazing structures and their role in Egyptian civilization.

You will be able to walk around the Great Pyramid of King Cheops and take some great photographs. Next, you will visit the Pyramid of Chephren and Mykerinus. Then, you are going to visit the amazing Great Sphinx, which represents King Chephren, with the head of a lion.

In addition, you are going to visit the Valley Temple of King Chephren, which is situated next to the Sphinx.

As an additional option, you may want to have a ride on a camel or horse around the Pyramids.

Having visited Giza, continue to Saqqara, which is one of the major archaeological sites in Egypt. There, you will visit the outstanding Step Pyramid of King Djoser.

Begin the day by having breakfast at the hotel and thereafter meet your tour guide, who will take you for another day of touring in Cairo during your Christmas holiday in Cairo Egypt.

Your first destination will be the Grand Egyptian Museum. This is one of the largest and finest museums that house artifacts related to Egyptian civilization. It has an extensive collection of thousands of artifacts that showcase the fascinating history of Egypt. In addition, it also houses the collection of King Tutankhamun, which is displayed in separate exhibition galleries.

After the museum, have lunch at one of the good local restaurants.

The next destination on your tour itinerary will be the historic Citadel of Saladin, where you will see the Mosque of Muhammad Ali, commonly known as the Alabaster Mosque. You will have a view of the panoramic city of Cairo from the Citadel.

The next place to visit will be Coptic Cairo with the Fortress of Babylon, Hanging Church, Church of St. Sergius and Bacchus, and also the old Ben Ezra Synagogue.

Finally, your tour guide will take you to the famous Khan El Khalili Bazaar, where you will browse through its alleys and have a look at the Egyptian souvenirs, handicrafts, spices.

Enjoy your last breakfast at the hotel, after which you will check out around 11:00 AM.

At the agreed time, the guide from Day Tours Egypt will collect you from your hotel in a private, air-conditioned vehicle and drive you to Cairo International Airport to board your outbound flight.
