As soon as you arrive at Cairo International Airport, our representative from Day Tour Egypt will be waiting for you at the airport holding a board with your name written on it and our logo.
From the airport, you will be taken to your hotel close to the Pyramids in an air-conditioned private vehicle. You will receive all the information related to your sightseeing itinerary on your Christmas vacation in Egypt.
The rest of the day is yours to relax and rest after your long trip.

Have your breakfast at the hotel and then meet your private guide who will conduct you to the highlights of Ancient Egypt.
First of all, you are going to pay a visit to the Giza Plateau, the place of the outstanding Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. Your guide will share information about the history of these amazing structures and their role in the Egyptian civilization.
You will be able to walk around the Great Pyramid of the King Cheops and make some great photographs. Next, you will go to the Pyramid of Chephren and Mykerinus. Then, you are going to visit the amazing Great Sphinx, which is the representation of the King Chephren and his head is the head of a lion.
In addition, you are going to visit the Valley Temple of the King Chephren that is situated next to the Sphinx.
As an additional option, you may want to have a ride on a camel or on a horse around the Pyramids.

Begin the day by having breakfast at the hotel and thereafter meet your tour guide who will take you for another day of touring in Cairo.
Your first destination will be the Grand Egyptian Museum. This is one of the largest and finest museums that house artifacts related to Egyptian civilization. It has an extensive collection of thousands of artifacts that showcase the fascinating history of Egypt. In addition, it also houses the collection of King Tutankhamun which is displayed in separate exhibition galleries.
From the museum, have lunch at one of the good local restaurants.
The next destination on your tour itinerary will be the historic Citadel of Saladin where you will see the Mosque of Muhammad Ali commonly known as the Alabaster Mosque. You will have a view of the panoramic city of Cairo from the Citadel.
