Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before meeting your guide and beginning your sightseeing tour as part of your 5 day Cairo Luxor Christmas tour.
Your first destination will be the Giza Plateau, where you will see all the Giza Pyramids such as Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus. Continue to the Great Sphinx, depicted with the body of a lion and the head of a king and visit the Valley Temple of King Chephren.
You will also have a scenic photo stop offering views of the Giza Pyramids together.
Next head to Saqqara, one of the most important archaeological sites in Egypt. Visit the Step Pyramid Complex of King Djoser, considered the oldest major stone building in the world.
Your tour will also include the Pyramid of King Teti, known for its remarkable interior and one of the Tombs of the Nobles, you can see beautifully preserved inscriptions and paintings while learning about the daily life of ancient Egyptians.
Have lunch at a restaurant en route to Memphis, site of the ancient city of Egypt. See the open air museum, containing the Alabaster Sphinx, the enormous fallen statue of king Ramesses II, and other artifacts.

Have breakfast at your hotel, then head to Cairo International Airport for your flight to Luxor.
Once you arrive, a Day Tour Egypt representative will meet you at Luxor Airport and take you to the West Bank. Your Christmas tour Cairo and Luxor continues with a visit to the Valley of the Kings, where many New Kingdom pharaohs were buried.
From there, stop at the Colossi of Memnon, the two massive statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. The next stop is the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, known for its striking terraces built into the cliffs.
Later cross to Luxor’s East Bank to explore Karnak Temple. Take your time walking through its huge columns and courtyards before heading to your hotel for check-in and some rest.
In the evening visit Luxor Temple when its columns and courtyards are beautifully lit. You will also see the granite statues of Ramses II before returning to your hotel.
