Day 1: Arrival in Cairo – Hotel Check-in

Welcome to Egypt!

You will be met and helped at the Cairo International Airport by our representative from Day Tour Egypt who will be holding a board with your name on it.

You will thereafter be driven to your Cairo hotel via a private, modern and air-conditioned car. You will thereafter be helped during your check-in and the itinerary for your Christmas holiday tour in Egypt will be revised.

Relax and enjoy your welcome drink at the hotel.

Day 2: Giza Pyramids – Saqqara – Memphis

Enjoy your breakfast at your hotel before meeting your professional Egyptologist guide and beginning your adventurous sightseeing tour.

Your first destination will be the Giza Plateau where you can visit the spectacular Pyramids of Kings Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus. Proceed to the legendary Great Sphinx that is depicted as the body of a lion and the head of a king and to the Valley Temple of King Chephren.

In addition, you will have a scenic photo stop, where you will be able to see the Giza Pyramids together.

Proceed to Saqqara that is considered one of the most important archeological sites in Egypt. Visit the legendary Step Pyramid Complex of King Djoser, the oldest major stone building in the world.

Among others, your tour will include Pyramid of King Teti that has a remarkable interior as well as one of the Tombs of the Nobles where you will see beautifully preserved inscriptions and paintings and will learn about the daily routine of ancient Egyptians.

Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant before moving on to Memphis that was the capital of ancient Egypt.

Day 3: Fly from Cairo to Luxor – Luxor West & East Banks

Breakfast will be served at your hotel before departure to Cairo International Airport for your domestic flight to Luxor.

On arrival at Luxor Airport, you will be welcomed by our representatives from Day Tour Egypt and commence your tour of Luxor by visiting the West Bank.

Commence your tour by visiting the Valley of the Kings, which is a famous royal burial site of many New Kingdom kings. Visit the grand Colossi of Memnon, two huge statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III.

Next, you will visit the grand Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, one of the grandest ancient structures in Luxor.

Then proceed to the East Bank of Luxor and visit the grand Karnak Temple Complex, one of the largest and grandest religious complexes in ancient Egypt.

After sightseeing, proceed to check-in at your hotel in Luxor and rest.

In the evening, proceed to visit the beautiful Luxor Temple that is illuminated in the evenings. Admire the beauty of the grand temple in the evenings along with its magnificent courtyards, columns, and granite statues of Ramses II.

After completing your evening tour, you will be taken back to your hotel.

Day 4: Fly from Luxor to Cairo – Grand Egyptian Museum – Citadel – Old Cairo

Have your breakfast at the hotel, before the departure from Luxor to Luxor International Airport for your flight to Cairo.

On arrival, meet your guide for Cairo sightseeing tour.

Visit the Grand Egyptian Museum – the museum that boasts of the best collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts and the amazing museum complex.

Move to Citadel of Saladin, to visit the Mosque of Muhammad Ali, which is also called Alabaster Mosque. The citadel also offers a bird eye view of old Cairo.

Take your lunch in one of the good restaurants. Proceed to Coptic Cairo.

See the ancient Fortress of Babylon, the famous Hanging Church, the Church of St. Sergius and Bacchus and the historic Ben Ezra Synagogue.

The last destination of your tour will be the Khan El Khalili Bazaar, the famous market place of Cairo. You can walk through the bazaar and buy some souvenirs of Egyptian handicrafts.

Back to your hotel in Cairo for your overnight stay.

Day 5: Final Departure

Enjoy your last breakfast at the hotel.

You have some free time until you leave after checking out. At your scheduled pick up time, our representative from Day Tour Egypt will collect you from the hotel and take you in a private air-conditioned car to Cairo International Airport.

Our representative will help you with all the procedures till you board your flight back home.
